The Central Arizona Symphony is entering their fifth season in 2018-2019. Under the direction of conductor Kimmy Calderone, the symphony offers a wide variety of music for audiences and musicians of all ages. Kimmy, an accomplished Director/Conductor/Artist, has been conducting the Central Arizona Symphony for four seasons, and has moved the players to the next level of performance. During the duration of the summer months, the symphony is hard at work rehearsing and preparing for each concert season. The orchestra rehearses at the Artisan Village in Coolidge, AZ every Thursday night from 7-9pm.
The 2018/2019 season will consist of concerts held in October, December and March. Our December concerts will be dedicated to HANDEL'S MESSIAH, collaborating with choirs and musicians in the area. The performances will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Casa Grande on November 24th, Our Lady of Grace Church in Maricopa on December 14th, and Saint Michael The Archangel Church in Florence on December 16th. Our March concerts will be held at First Presbyterian Church Family Life Center in Casa Grande, and Florence Gardens. Our March concerts will be shared with Jim Sorenson. More updates will be provided when confirmed.
The Central Arizona Symphony is constantly adding new members, and is always willing to help encourage those who haven't played in a while to feel welcome!

What an outstanding performance of A Classic Christmas in the Coolidge Performing Arts Center the night of December 3rd. The house was packed as the Desert Song Community Choir together with the Central Arizona Symphony provided music that inspired and touched the audience. While the stage was packed with performers which included the Imagine Elementary School Choir, the performance hall was also packed with people (about 700) that seemed to enjoy the sounds of the season. The concert ending Hallelujah Chorus was flawless by both the Choir and symphony; the audience was especially appreciative.
